Christmas ornament with snowy stone cottage, 6 in (15 cm)

Large mouth-blown glass Christmas ornament, painted entirely by hand in our workshop in Bellagio, on Lake Como: a stone cottage under the snow, its windows aglow, on a matte background fading from gray-blue to pearl. A showpiece for your Christmas tree, 100% made in Italy, and a special gift idea.

The decoration

The wooden door and beams are painted in honey brown, the roofs are white with snow and the warm yellow windows light up the landscape. The snowy ground is built up in layers of white, ivory and pearl with the finest glitter; below, branches with green leaves and bright red berries frame the scene.

On the sides and back, bare trees in white and silver and a hand-painted wavy motif separate the scene from the matte background.

Each ornament is painted individually by our artists: the piece you receive may differ slightly from the photo, a sign of true handwork.
